I have been significantly slacking on this blog for the past year, and it really bothers me. I see value in preserving our thoughts and thinking and everyday experiences, but I always lose the energy to actually do the work of writing it down. It reminds me of a quote: “I hate writing, but I enjoy having written.”
As a way of avoiding actually doing that work, I decided to just write down some of the things that I intend to write about. Procastination? Perhaps. But I also like to think that me putting it down in writing will somehow encourage me to actually follow through on completing these topics.
Routine. A typical weekday with Lena, specifically nightime, and a typical morning.
Ohio. We’re moving to Ohio, and that wasn’t always the plan. BUT – there are lots of benefits…and some drawbacks. Initial reasons for moving, why we decided on the specific areak, timeline, TAXES. Also how we changed our intention of buying another duplex to single family.
Fitness. I went through 6 weeks of physical therapy for my right knee this fall, and I think that experience made a lasting impact on my perception of fitness and aging. (also I’m 30 now)
Lena. Lots to cover…I’m frustrated with myself for not documenting her growth in the way that I intended.
Covid.
Chelsea and work. It has been a stressful year at her school.
Crypto. I (reluctantly) dipped into crypto this year, and I (reluctantly) find it quite interesting.
